The two brothers accused of shooting at an undercover U.S. Park Police officer in Southeast D.C. were in court for the first time on Wednesday. Darren Foster, 21, and Asheile Foster, 22, are accused of the attack. The officer was investigating a shooting on March 20, the same day as the shooting at the Anacostia Park Roller Skating Rink. Relatives of the accused said they became suspicious when a white car started following them on the highway and when they made wrong turns, they parked behind it. The criminal complaint alleges that while Asheile or his grandmother were driving, Darren asked Asheile's brother, Darren, to come outside because someone was following them. Four additional federal charges have been added to the charges.
