The Tampa Bay Rays completed a three-game series sweep against the Minnesota Twins, winning 4-2 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Yandy Diaz and four other players contributed to the victory, with Chandler Simpson going 3-for-4 with a stolen base and a run and Jonathan Aranda contributing two RBIs. The Twins lost their fifth consecutive game and fell to 1-9 over their last 10 games. Simeon Woods Richardson was the losing pitcher, allowing four runs on eight hits in four 1/3 innings.
