French President Emmanuel Macron has called for a moratorium on strikes in the U.S. and Israeli conflict against Iran on energy and water infrastructure. This follows strikes that targeted gas production facilities in Iran and Qatar. The French president has spoken with the Emir of Qatar and President Trump regarding the situation. This comes after Macron rejected a proposal by President Trump to open the Strait of Hormuz, where Iran has restricted traffic.
