The Elk Grove Police Department has arrested 37-year-old William Raasch for allegedly hiding cameras in toilets at women's restrooms in Elk Grove Regional Park and Jan Rau Park. The cameras were found hidden in the women's toilets at both parks. After an investigation, detectives found Raashen had placed hidden cameras in at least two other parks. They believe he disguised himself as a female to sneak in and place the cameras. The incident has been described as "absolutely disgusting" by residents as an example of how people should be aware of their surroundings and make sure if they see something or feel uncomfortable, they will be alerted.
