The baseball team of Central Catholic High School in Portland, Oregon, has publicly apologized for using "racial hate speech" during a pre-game cheer. The school has since implemented measures such as a switch to remote learning and forfeiting a game against Sam Barlow High School. The apology was made at an assembly on April 17. The team is set to return to play against Clackamas High School on Tuesday.
