A man has been arrested following a dramatic police chase on Long Island near the Americana Mall in Manhasset. The chase began in Port Washington and ended when the suspect allegedly fled in a stolen Mercedes and began causing several accidents. During the chase, an officer fired a shot, but no one was injured. The suspect was eventually apprehended outside the mall. The incident occurred during a brief lockout at high school.
