Utah's ski resorts have been struggling this season, with several resorts having to close early due to poor conditions. However, after weeks of record-breaking warmth, a recent storm is giving them at least another weekend of good powder skiing. The remaining resorts, like Alta Ski Area and Brighton Resort, are welcoming the return of winter and hope this will extend their operations. The storm could bring up to 30 inches of fresh snow to Alta by Friday, which is expected to push them to their projected closing date at the end of this month. Despite the challenges of recent warm weather, both these resorts believe the fresh snow will help them stay open until April 26th.
