Boston Police have arrested an 18-year-old boy for driving an unregistered moped without a helmet, and found a gun in his possession. The incident occurred early Sunday morning in the Blue Hill Ave. area. The police pulled over two mopeds that appeared not to be registered and one driver fled through a set of red lights. The second driver then accelerated towards the officers, losing his balance and falling off his moped. The suspect, Tyrone Puckett, was arrested and charged with carrying a loaded firearm without a license, unlawful possession of ammunition, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and resisting arrest. The moped he was driving also had exposed wires, no key, and no gas cap.
