Russian forces launched one of its largest attacks of the war, killing at least eight Ukrainian civilians and wounding 60 others. The country's Air Force reported that Russian forces fired 47 missiles and 619 drones, including about 400 Shahed-type "kamikaze" drones. The strikes caused significant destruction on the frontline city of Dnipro, where 27 houses, two kindergartens and a medical clinic were destroyed. The city was also hit by a double-tap strike, killing a fifth person during the daytime hours. Over 46 people were injured, including five children. The Romanian defence ministry has summoned the Russian ambassador in protest over the actions. Meanwhile, Ukrainian armed forces reported that 1.3 million Russian troops have been killed or wounded in the war.
