House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky) has committed to holding hearings with victims of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein as part of his committee's ongoing investigation. This follows first lady Melania Trump's call for Congress to allow the victims to testify, denying any relationship between herself and Epstein. Comer stated that he had always planned on having hearings with the victims and that more high-profile individuals are expected to testify. The committee has also subpoenaed former Attorney General Pam Bondi to testify in its investigation, but the Justice Department is challenging this.
