Spotify lawsuit tries to kick Anna's Archive off the web, without much success

Spotify and major record labels are seeking a $322 million default judgment from Anna's Archive, which has not responded to court proceedings over its use of millions of music files from Spotify's streaming service. The music companies are also seeking a permanent injunction to remove the Anna’s Archive website from the internet by cutting off its access to domain and hosting providers. However, this has not been successful, with a court order shutting down the shadow library's.ovations. The lawsuit seeks a default judgment ordering Anna”s Archive to pay $300 million to Spotify, $7.5 million to Sony, another $8.5m to Universal Music Group (Ueg), and $7.,5 million more to Universal Media Group (EUG) and £7.2 million to Warner.
