Historic Downtown Route 66 property back up for sale as owners eye retirement

Steve and Dawn Vatoseow, owners of Lindy's Diner and the Bliss Building in Downtown Albuquerque, have put their iconic Route 66 property up for sale for nearly $1.3 million. The owners, who have been owned by the same family for decades, are preparing to retire and retire. The building, which houses Lindy’s Diner, is currently open to business and is also home to two apartments and two art galleries. This is not the first time the building has been listed for sale, as they previously attempted to sell it in 2024 for around the same price. However, this time, they are hopeful they will have better luck due to increased interest rates.
