Alicia Maxey, a mother from Oklahoma, was attacked by an unknown animal on March 29, leaving her with severe injuries. The homeowner of the property, an EMT, discovered Maxey unconscious and bloody, with the dog still present. Maxey underwent four emergency surgeries and her husband, Wallace, is on dialysis awaiting a new kidney. The Pittsburg County Sheriff's Office is working with Oklahoma Wildlife Services to identify the animal based on Maxey's wounds. Authorities believe the animal could be a bear, a mountain lion, or a dog. With Maxey unable to work, the family is struggling to keep up with daily expenses.
