Bluesky leans into AI with Attie, an app for building custom feeds

Blizzky has developed an AI assistant, Attie, an app for building custom feeds and creating social apps. The app allows users to design their own algorithm, create custom feeds, and even vibe-code their own app. It was presented at the Atmosphere conference by Bluesky's former CEO, Jay Graber, and Bluesky CTO Paul Frazee. The company's interim CEO, Toni Schneider, confirmed that Attie is not a part of the Bluesky app but a standalone product built by Graber's new team. The plan for Attie to allow users to create their own social apps and tools for other users over the time it takes to build on the AT Protocol (or atproto). The company has also announced that it has received $100 million in additional funding from a previous round of funding.
