Cleveland Clinic has pledged to contribute $50 million to reduce hunger in Ohio, Florida, and Nevada by supporting local food banks and community-based organizations that provide food for those in need. The funding will support the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, food banks, pantries, and markets across Northeast Ohio and Florida, where the Clinic has facilities. The long-term investment aims to give community organizations stability and expand their programs. The pledge builds on Cleveland Clinic's ongoing efforts to address hunger, with the number of Americans living in food insecure households predicted to increase to 47 million in 2023, including nearly 14 million children.
