Several Disneyland cast members have been hospitalized following an incident at the theme park in Anaheim, California. Eight employees were taken to local hospitals due to dizziness and shortness of breath. The incident reportedly occurred backstage near Star Tours, the Star Wars-themed attraction in the Tomorrowland section of the park. Both Disneyland officials and the Anaheim Police Department stated that the incident was due to a contractor's building materials creating a reaction. The affected cast members were treated by paramedics on the scene and subsequently released. The Star Tours attraction is currently open, but the adjacent Tomorrowland ride, Space Mountain, is listed as "temperately closed" on the park's official app.
