The 1973 Opel GT, a compact car based on the Kadett, has been featured on Bring a Trailer, a website part of Hearst Autos. The car was sold through Buick dealerships in the US and has undergone extensive reconditioning. It features a citrusy Rallye Gold paint and a four-speed manual for driving. The Opel G was designed by Clare MacKichan, stylist of the Chevy Nomad and the C2 Corvette. Despite its staid lineup in the 1960s, Opel's fun factor hasn't faded since its production began in 1968.
