Garza County man sentenced to life in prison for child sexual abuse

Mark Anthony Porter, a Garza County man, has been sentenced to life in prison for sexually abusing a child over seven years. Porter began abusing the victim when she was 8 years old and the abuse lasted over seven decades. A jury convicted Porter after 45 minutes of deliberation and handed down the maximum sentence.
