Fourth-seeded Alabama advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Tournament with a 90-65 victory over No. 5 seed Texas Tech. The Crimson Tide, which also had 15 points from Houston Mallette, took control of the game early and led by 34 points in the second half. Both teams were playing short-handed due to injuries to JT Toppin and Aden Holloway, who was suspended indefinitely due to a felony drug charge.
