A 34-year-old man has been sentenced to six years in prison for attempted second-degree kidnapping of a 9-year old girl at a Lakewood Safeway. Bradley Wilson, who pleaded guilty to the charge, will serve at least six years behind bars in the Department of Corrections followed by a mandatory three-year term of parole. The incident occurred on June 21, when Wilson approached a woman and her 9-month-old granddaughter in the store and guided them towards the exit. The child's grandmother intervened and Wilson was forced out of the store. The defense argued that Wilson was under a "significant mental health crisis" during the incident.
