Jimmy Garoppolo, a 34-year-old veteran quarterback who has served as the quarterback's offensive coordinator in Los Angeles for the past two seasons, may return to starting duties with the Cardinals in 2026. The Cardinals are reportedly interested in reuniting with new head coach Mike LaFleur, who has previously worked with the 49ers. This could be his first time in an everyday starting role since 2022. Garoppolol is expected to draw strong interest from other teams around the league, including the Rams, Green Bay, and possibly even as Green Bay's No. 2.
