Man charged with murder in connection with 1990 cold case of 'Lovers' Lane Murders,' DA says

After nearly 36 years, Harris County District Attorney Sean Teare has made an arrest in the 1990 murders of Cheryl Henry and Andy Atkinson. The case, known as "Lover's Lane Murders," went unsolved for nearly two decades. The arrest was made in Lincoln, Nebraska. Teare stated that prosecutors and the police have pursued the case with relentless determination.
