French anti-terrorism prosecutors have opened an investigation into attempted destruction by fire or other dangerous measures. They suspect pro-Iranian group HAYI, which had previously targeted Jewish interests and communities in France and Europe, was behind the attack on Bank of America Paris on March 28. Four suspects, including three minors and an adult, have been formally placed under investigation. The device used in the attack was the most powerful pyrotechnic device of its kind identified in France. The Iranian embassy in France did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
