The Oregon Lottery bonds are leading to the expansion of bilingual education at the International Leadership Academy in Lake Oswego, a day care and preschool center founded by Massène Mboup and Patricia Isler. The school will soon expand by 62 infant seats thanks to a $750,000 state grant meant to increase early learning access in Oregon. The grant will be used to renovate a new building and increase capacity from 25 to 50. Alongside the academy, Bridge City Montessori School, an early learning center for deaf and hearing-impaired children, is doubling its capacity with a $481,680 grant. The Child Care Infrastructure Fund was created by the Oregon Legislature in 2024 through $50 million in lottery bonds.
