Climate scientist Andy Reisinger has warned that humanity will miss its target of keeping atmospheric warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial times, predicts an even warmer future. The Paris Agreement, originally established in 2015, aimed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions rapidly and hold the planetary temperature rise to below 2 degrees Celsius. However, nations' cumulative actions and commitments are falling far short of these goals.
