Iran targeting buyers of US Treasury bonds: Parliament speaker

Iranian parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has warned that his country will target buyers of U.S. Treasury bonds, including financial institutions that support the military budget, as well as military bases. This comes after the U.K. and Israel launched strikes on Iran on February 28, resulting in at least seven deaths in retaliation. Ghalbaf also stated that if you purchase these bonds, you are attacking your own assets and primary headquarters. The countries holding the most American bonds are Japan, the United Kingdom, China, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
