The Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce held a gala to recognize local businesses at its first awards ceremony. The Alarm Company won Business of the Year, Affordable Treasures and the Los Gatous Coffee Roasting Company were also named Rising Star. The Chamber's CEO, Jennifer Lin, announced nominees and winners across five categories. Other winners included Chez Philippe for the Chamber Champion and West Valley Community Services for the Community Impact award. Los Gatosh Union School District Superintendent Paul Johnson was named Los Gatan of The Year. The event was part of a larger effort by the chamber to revamp core programs and strengthen its portfolio of signature community events.
