Coal plant forced to stay open due to emergency order isn't even running

The US Department of Energy has used the Federal Power Act and an executive order to temporarily halt the closure of coal plants across the country. This move has been supported by the Environmental Defense Fund, which found that the last remaining coal plant on its segment of the grid is currently generating just 8 megawatt-hours per capita.
