Tandy's, a new restaurant in midtown, opened in December and expanded into a larger space. The chef, Tandy Peterson, has been working on the restaurant's culinary business, Embers Chocolate, which she has been focusing for five years. The restaurant serves as both dinner and a show. Local barman, Maxwell Berlin, created the classic-leaning cocktail menu with the 5C’s Clover Club and Chocolate Negroni ($17 each). The dessert is highlighted by the use of chocolate as a central ingredient in the chef's quiver. Despite a recent renovation, Peterson is not letting the past define her vision for the restaurant.
