2026 Houston Open leaderboard: Gary Woodland, Nicolai Højgaard separate from the pack on Moving Day

The 2026 Houston Open has become a two-man competition between Gary Woodland and Nicolai Højgaard, who have separated the field on Moving Day at Memorial Park Golf Course. Woodland entered the day with a three-shot lead over Høijgaard and Jackson Suber, but Højegaard started to chip away at Woodland's advantage with a superb round of golf. Høja, known for his long swing, shot a 7-under 63 and remains in sole possession of the lead going into Sunday's final round. Both players are seeking a PGA Tour win and are also aiming to secure invitations to the Masters. Whoever wins will be able to secure an elusive PGA title and secure a spot at Augusta National.
