Judge questions legal basis for Trump's $10 billion case against IRS

A federal judge has questioned the legal basis for President Donald Trump's $10 billion lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), alleging that the agency was responsible for the unauthorized release of his tax documents by a government contractor. The judge stated that a case can only stand if there is an actual disagreement between the two parties. Both parties have been ordered to explain this by May 20. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for May 27. The lawsuit was filed by Trump alongside two of his adult sons and the Trump Organization.
