The city of St. George has unveiled plans for a major overhaul of Airline Highway Park, which could transform the park into a regional destination. The project, which has been in the works for several years, involves major upgrades to the park, including multiple new baseball fields, batting cages, a new sports complex, and indoor pickleball courts. City leaders believe the upgraded complex could have a significant economic impact by attracting tournaments and visitors from outside the area. The construction will take place in phases, with groundbreaking expected in 2027.
