PlayStation handheld rumors suggest it will beat the Xbox Series S, but I wouldn't bother thinking about it or the Steam Deck 2 until at least 2028

Rumors of a next-gen PlayStation handheld could beat the Xbox Series S and the Steam Deck 2, but it is expected to be until at least 2028. Hardware leaker KeplerL2 stated that the PlayStation handheld's GPU is "a bit ahead of the XSS [Xbox Series S] in raster" and is "massively ahead" when it comes to path tracing. This suggests that the portable will heavily rely on AMD's FSR 4 and PSSR. However, the release date for the Steam deck 2 may be delayed due to the RAM/NAND issue. Despite these rumors, take a cautious approach to prevent future gaming hardware increases due to AI demand.
