Downtown Pittsburgh restaurant issued consumer alert over food held at wrong temperatures

The Allegheny County Health Department has issued a consumer alert for The Yard Gastropub in Downtown Pittsburgh, citing food temperature and cold-holding unit ambient air temperature violations. The restaurant, located on 5th Avenue, has been given 10 days to rectify these violations or it will be closed. The health department noted that various temperature-controlled foods were measured above 41 degrees and the ambient air temperatures of the walk-in cooler measured at 51 degrees.
