The FBI has revealed the final hours of Ayman Mohamed Ghazali, a 41-year-old naturalized US citizen from Lebanon, who attacked a Jewish center and school in Michigan on March 12. The terrorist was motivated by Hezbollah, spending significant amounts of time online researching Jewish centers in the Detroit area and purchasing firearms, ammunition, and fireworks. His social media posts included photos of family members recently killed in Middle East strikes, references to jihad, martyrdom, and Hezbollah. Ghazli also recorded multiple videos on his journey to Temple Israel and shared dozens of memes, videos, photos, and messages online and with his sister. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound after the attack. The FBI has stated that there is no ongoing threat to the Jewish community and that no evidence of co-conspirators have been found.
