The ELISHA Project is giving away nearly 100,000 pounds of potatoes to non-governmental organizations. The potatoes were transported from Idaho in two semitrailers and will be distributed among individuals. The giveaway will take place from 3-4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday at the Apex building on Main Street.
