The Cleveland Clinic is undergoing several building projects, including a $1 billion Neurological Institute and a Level 1 trauma center. Other projects include a campus refresh at Clinic Fairview, an expansion in Avon, and two research facilities on the health system's main campus. The $150 million Cole Eye Institute expansion, opened a year ago, added 150,000 square feet to the existing eye institute. The new Cancer Center/Medical Office Building is currently underway and is expected to be completed in 2029. Two new research buildings are also under construction at the intersection of East 100th Street and Cedar Avenue, costing a combined $400 million. The Global Peak Performance Center, in collaboration with the Cleveland Cavaliers, is under construction and spans more than 210,000 sq ft. New construction projects are also underway at Clinic facilities in Florida, Canada, and London.
