Fort Worth Reaches 90% Live Release Rate for the Fiscal Year

The Department of Animal Care for Children's Services (SAVE) has achieved a 90% live release rate for the fiscal year, marking a significant milestone. The success of this achievement is attributed to the efforts of staff and community leaders to ensure that nearly all animals from the shelter find permanent homes. Since the start of the year, more than 4,000 animals have been left at the facility and 1,000 have been placed in foster homes.
