On the Water: New L.A.-based cruise ship to begin first West Coast season next month

Virgin Voyages' new cruise ship, Brilliant Lady, will begin its first West Coast season in Los Angeles in April. The ship will sail from the Los Angeles Cruise Terminal and will make multiple stops along the California and Mexico coasts. This is the fourth and newest ship in the Virgin Fleet, a cruise line for adults only. The Seabourn Quest cruise ship will only be in Long Beach in 2026, but only once. The team of competitive divers for McCormick Divers in Southern California continues to excel. Evelyn Wang, a 15-year-old sophomore at Arcadia High School, started diving six years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite her challenging schedule, Wang trains six days a week and runs at least three miles a day.
