Jarvis Butts, a 43-year-old Michigan man who admitted to murdering 13-year old Na'Ziyah Harris, was found dead in prison two weeks after he was sentenced. He is believed to have died by suicide. The victim disappeared in 2024 and her body has never been found. As part of his plea deal, Butts was required to disclose where Na’Ziyah's body is buried. Prosecutors have alleged that he was the father of the child at the time of her death.
