The former Capitol Police officer and Metropolitan Police Officer Daniel Hodges are arguing that the decision to hide the plaque from the public violates the spirit of the law. The law requires the plaque to be permanently displayed on the building's exterior. The Senate unanimously voted on the plaque's display in January.
