Don Wood Foundation creates grants to engage youth, develop talent, empower manufacturing

The Don Wood Foundation has created three new grant designations: Engaging Youth, Developing Talent and Empowering Manufacturing. This follows the announcement that the nonprofit will invest $50 million within the next five years in training the next-generation workforce in northeast Indiana. The grants are designed to advance the foundation's Forward Together Blueprint, which illustrates how early engagement, intentional skill-building and industry alignment can build a future-ready manufacturing workforce. The foundation will host a series of workshops in May and June featuring details about the new grant categories.
