A downed pole has closed all southbound lanes of Route 17 in the Wood-Ridge area in Bergen County, New Jersey, causing a significant disruption to the traffic. The state Department of Transportation confirmed that the incident occurred at around 5:30 a.m. The northbound lanes remained open.
