The Philadelphia DA has warned that any federal agent who violates Constitutional rights or violates state law in Philadelphia will face prosecution. This comes after the death of Alex Pretti and the shooting of two unarmed protesters in Minneapolis led to the partial federal-government shutdown. The conflict between Congress and the Department of Homeland Security, which includes TSA and ICE, has resulted in a significant unpaid wage dispute leading to the shutdown. On Sunday, President Donald Trump announced that ICE agents would be placed in airports, pending the end of the shutdown, and Krasner criticised the Trump administration for lack of specialized training for these agents.
