Graney: Josh Pastner doesn’t believe NBA will hold UNLV back

UNLV basketball coach, Josh Pastner, has expressed optimism about the NBA coming to Las Vegas, despite the team's lack of fan base. Despite this, Pastner believes UNLV needs to win more games to revitalize its fan base and improve its performance. The league's Board Of Governors has voted to explore expansion in Southern Nevada. However, it is uncertain if an NBA team will be the last to arrive in Las Vegas. Pastner also mentioned the potential for more players to be involved in the team, citing Las Vegas' history and its potential for increased player recruitment opportunities. The team's average attendance for Pastner's first season was 5,374.
