Maintaining adequate tread depth is crucial for vehicle safety, particularly during spring rain. The Red Cross recommends carrying basic emergency supplies, including a spare tire, jumper cables, a first-aid kit, and check oil, coolant and windshield washer fluid levels before traveling.
