Local family pleads for answers following woman’s death months after hit-and-run

Amanda Lorman, a local family member, died five months after a hit-and-run in East Westwood, Cincinnati. Police say Lorman was hit in a marked crosswalk on October 15 and the driver, who was heading east, ran a red light and did not stop. Frank Bern, Lorman's brother-in-law, expressed frustration over the lack of answers and limited clues from witnesses. Lorman leaves behind her partner of over 30 years. The family is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward. This is not the first time this has negatively impacted the family in recent years.
