BYU guard Kennard Davis Jr. has been performing well for the team, scoring 20 points in a 68-48 win over West Virginia Mountaineers. This victory came after Davis was criticized for his quiet performance a week ago, scoring only seven points. He also made nine of his last 11 3-point attempts. This performance was one of the key moments for BYU, who defeated WVU in a Big 12 tournament second-round game at T-Mobile Center. Davis has been allowed to speak to reporters for the first time since November after being cited for DUI, marijuana possession. He has pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor and awaits a court hearing in April.
