Pedestrian struck, killed in overnight crash on I-70

A pedestrian was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 in St. Louis. The incident occurred shortly after 1:15 a.m. on Friday morning. The victim was critically injured and pronounced dead on the scene. All eastbound lanes on I-70 before Union Boulevard were temporarily shuttered. The vehicle involved in the crash remained on the ground.
