D4vd accused of killing teen after she threatened to release details to 'end his career,' prosecutors say

The singer D4vd, real name David Anthony Burke, is accused of murdering Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a 14-year-old girl whose dismembered body was found in the trunk of his Tesla. Prosecutors allege that Celeste threatened to reveal information about their relationship that could "end his career and his life." The two had a sexual relationship when Celeste was 11 and Burke was 18, according to court documents. They reportedly discussed sex, pregnancy, abortion, and the use of the Plan B emergency contraceptive. Burke was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, continuous sexual abuse and mutilation of human remains in Celeste's disappearance and death. He has pleaded not guilty and his attorneys plan to vigorously defend his innocence.
